包裝

到葵芳劇院看生活與生存-華麗上班族,順道在附近找地方醫肚,選中上海婆婆,摩登時尚裝修,四川怪味雞及水煑魚好看又好吃,喜出望外;酸辣湯味不夠濃,糊狀的,放久了更不能吃.

生活與生存-華麗上班族很chic,但不華麗.導演手法現代,把本來平凡的故事包裝得有風格,演員做好本身角色,增加了戲劇張力.
這故事一不留神,很容易變成同事三份親處境電視劇,失卻劇場力量.生活與生存本來可以很哲學,但很哲學,未必有觀眾.劇場也是為了生活與生存.劇場賣座靠包裝,靠擁躉.

火車站的早餐選擇

上次在大埔墟站見有Euro cafe,已好想試,既然要去羅湖,順道在此食個早餐,享受$24蚊的寫意.

工作時工作;遊戲時遊戲

深圳開會日半,盡用餘下時間吃喝玩樂,高興不已.
小肥羊火煱及西湖春天杭州菜,精彩.中森明菜日本菜電視介紹頻頻,有創意賣相,食物水準僅屬可以.
玩得太忘形,發生迷離地車事件,上車會展中心站,過了幾個站一望,仍是會展中心站,六個人都不明所以,莫非時空轉移?

小故事一則

街上的霓虹燈映在她的臉上,的士在馬路上奔馳,Luna的頭倚著車窗,眼晴在搜索,像在尋找甚麼似的.司機,可否開慢點?太快了,太快了.身旁的Jimmy沒有留意她的失神,只自顧自查看著手機的短訊.她回過頭來,眼光落在他的手臂上,那小男生愛穿的粉藍裇衫衣袖摺起來,露出了手臂,還好像隱約散發著一陣爽身粉的甜香,她有衝動捉著它,咬它一口,或摟著不放,據為己有,偷取香氣.
她記起了,那熟識的一剎,海水反映閃動的月光,沙灘長櫈上的她與另一個他並排坐著,他的肩膀像安裝了磁石一樣,把她的頭引了過去.從那時起,她沒有了主意.
同樣是夜晚,在大厦之間,隱藏了可是月光.月圓的夜,最危險.她心想,這話不假.想著想著,車停了,兩人由兩邊車門各自下車,車身不知自己礙事,浪費了月亮的好意.

金鎖記坐談會

因為王安憶, 因為許鞍華,我參加了金鎖記坐談會
我跟朋友笑稱, 很難想像喜歡王安憶,張愛玲, 許鞍華的人會喜歡焦媛, 焦媛屬另一類的.但沒有焦媛, 也沒有這個劇塲製作.
正猶疑是否買劇塲票期間, 朋友致電說買了金鎖記的票, 其中有人不能去, 問我有沒有興趣?巧合得令我不能拒絕.
講座中發現舞台上的金鎖記還沒成形. 馬家輝做主持,竟有點像陳志雲,
為了向祖師奶奶致敬, 我買了她在生未發表的作品小團圓

All about food

I had grilled tuna salad sat afternoon at Epoch and earl grey tea at agnes B loggia, IFC. Then I went to my sister's house. She wanted to bake new york cheese cake with her daughter and me. The recipe was surprisingly simple. Sunday ma, cooked some pasta as dinner.
Only that I may have to pay attention to calorie, love dessert too much.

Yeah,he's just not that into me

Well, I confess and accept the facts that...
I once had a boyfriend that did not want to marry me after over 7 years together.
I once had received signs from a guy who did not know that he sent signs.
I once had someone who loved me and I cannot love back.
So the movie 'he's just not that into you' is general to enough to cover some of my experiences.
No one can actually generate rules and exceptions in the case of love
That makes love a very interesting subject in movie, as always

When we choose, we make a choice
Sometimes a realistic choice, sometimes a moral choice

We may lie to ourselves

By repeatedly looking back at the same episode
we start to see things we did not see.
Struggle is in the process of reading

A word that has long been forgotten
Shame is not that bad if compared with 'no shame'

逆市發展

經濟不好,租金下調,反而多了舖開分店:花滿樓,榮式雞扒,sift
搞分店其實不容易,若經濟轉好,會再受租金限制.分店質素能否保持也是考驗,
因緣際遇路過北角長龍雞旦仔店,成三＋人排隊,我有時間,順便排下,試後覺得總店雞旦仔比油麻地及灣仔分店雞旦仔旦味更濃,脆得恰到好處,一吃立分高下的.
在人人身家縮水的時候,我希望好味又便宜的食物,可以重獲發展空間

ＶＣＤ解睇戲癮
隨時通話－演員賣力,但說不上很好.
女人不壞－因早前北京之行，對戲內所講地方有概念，但覺得整體感覺有點過時/有點土，像早期中國有關城市的電影，反觀非誠勿擾更有時代感，更接近我剛接觸過的北京。可能中國真是變得太快。

Amazing service Agnes B Kowloon Tong

Mrs. Chu loves Agnes B hazelnut cookies, so do I. I walked into the Agnes B at Festival Walk and asked if they have any. They said no but.. they were willing to bake the cookies immediately. It would take 40 mins. So I enjoyed my tea and the staff apologized again and again for keeping me waiting. I was amazed by their personal service, I did not expect them baking anything for me but they did. Love Agnes B!!

A reflection of a traveller

As a traveller, I try to walk as much as I can and use public transport
As a traveller, I try to order food not more than I can eat and do not consume more than I need
As a traveller, I try to photograph people and respect their privacy
As a traveller, I try to switch off unused electricity applicances in the hotel room
As a traveller, I try to learn some simple local phrases
As a traveller, I try to respect people who are different from me

It is not easy as tourism is a form of consumption. So I do not locate myself as a tourist but a traveller.

As a traveller, I only see part of the city/country based on my personal experience and value judgement. My impression could never be thorough. Don't trust me. If you are interested in the cities I have been to, go and see it for youself and share it with me.

In a nutshell, 5 words: a kiss on a scar

Symbolic as it can be
It could mean love...
It could mean forgiveness...
It could mean pity...
It could mean rubbing salt in the wound...
It could mean anything

A slumdog can become a millionaire
The story is simple and entertaining
and it is very difficult to direct:
interacting past and present
handling ethnic issues, religious issues, poverty, cultural differences
It remains an energetic and cohensive narrative without forgetting pain and hope
