迎面有人跟我打招呼，胸前Rolleiflex camera,手執Kill Bill DVD,咁浮誇,原來係以前教過嘅主日學生,而家大到同我講電影,仲教我用Rolleiflex,真係大個仔!

我建議幫公仔擦,滿足下,
希望work la
而家佢只不過3歲
估唔到唔係要人地玩具
係要指甲油
應該好快要high heels, handbags la

Voyage

To me, travelling is to leave comfort zone and experience paradigm shift. We may think that we know sth but that is not always true.
It is also interesting to meet people.
I met a girl from US who reminded me of 'Ugly Betty' who has numerous dreams to fulfill.
I met another US lady who is a CEO of a big firm in Oregon who has her own history.
I witnessed how Amsterdam people managed their staff in Amsterdam.
I saw Jaywalking quiet common in Amsterdam, but not in Berlin.
I heard Amsterdam guy saying everything there is legal.
More to that, I truly experienced the power of nature in Tier garten and palace gardens.
My impression of Amsterdam is full of canals.
My favorite place is the area around flower market, where they have good restaurants
Last but not the least, Van Gogh musuem is a must go.
Amsterdam is said to be a free place. But on the other side of the coin, is it more 'not free'?... the red district is behind the old church, a designated area.

About Berlin, it is diffciult to sum up. Too complex. I could not even select a representative picture. Berlin Wall? Holocaust? Prussian Palaces? Philosophers? Cars?
Parliament buidling is an impressive place. I did not realise before that 'democracy' could be that transparent. The new glass building sigifies democracy - people's participation. Berlin has different 'attitudes' to offer, a charming place.

It is probably time to pick up my German again by reading books, to start, what about Karl Barth?

cleaners of Amsterdam were on strike last week, should be over now, I met 2 time RTV reporters in 2 locations in less than an hour shooting how the cleaning resumed.

AN old man smiled when he saw me taking picture of the canal. We were both captured by the beautiful scenery.

First day in Amsterdam

Unprecedental 5 degree celcius in Amsterham in May (supposed to be Spring), very cold
I did not bring many clothes, dilemma really, I have to travel light. I do not want at all carrying heavy luggage to go from one train station to another.
Have to try to adjust to this cold weather, though people said that I can buy clothes here but all stores here are selling Spring collection....
May have to go to University area and see whether I can get all year available pullover hahaha :)
Apart from cold weather, streets are full of rubbish bags. Cleaners are on strike. I saw a girl taking a photo of the mountain like rubbish bags. She accidentally fell and sat on to the rubbish bags. Not very pleasant ha but she seemed happy even though her trouser smelled now. Coudl not imagine the streets will be like in next couple days.
The Stedelijk musuem's renovation work has not completed. The completion date has been further delayed. But Van Gogh museum is the best van gogh museum if compared to the one in barcelona and in arles. The museum building itself is stylish. Paintings are well presented. They also showed Gauguin's works.From this exhbition, I know more Japanese painting influence on Van gogh. Now I remembered Van Gogh by colours: blue, yellow, green.Rembrand works in Rijksmuseum gave me new understanding of the Jewish bride and apostle Paul. When facing the paintings, I like Apostle Paul even more. Reambrand reminds me how complex color black can be.

店主Mag自己喜歡書,書店名正反映店主想分享好書,食譜設計建築等書圖文美得悅目,竟又實用
最意外的發現是...她藏有自己以前和友人經營過的書店在書展中派發的書簽,多奇妙!
另外發現www.old-flower.blogspot.com的畫 ,竟然出自男士手筆,夢幻得來又型.surprises everywhere indeed捧着花藝手工書回家,好滿足.那本老爹媽恩中英對照老人家帶着生命故事的食譜.沒吃也暖在心窩.
