People you see every day

There are two persons who greet me every day.
One is a lady who hands me free newspaper AM730
Another is a staff of Pret a Manger
We see each other every day
and there is some kind of bonding/connection there, that I treasure
The lady walks towards me and hands me paper when I am near
The guy often orders for me Mocha before i tell him what I want
There are times I wanted to have Cappucino or Tea Latte
I saw astonishment and disappointment in his face
These are people that I like to see

One kid's song runs like this:

Souvenir - drip coffee from Japan

I like to buy souvenirs for my friends and my friends give me souvenirs too.
of course, it is not related to material needs or reciprocity.
But when one buys a souvenir for another person, it means something and that something will brighten another's life. Like a cup of coffee, that makes you feel good.

I suddenly realized that many problems we christians have towards Christianity is about what people say about christianity and not about the bible itself. When we read the bible, we tended to interpret the verses according to certain traditions. Amazing new generation

I met my mentees during Easter holiday. I was amazed by the things they know -from Hyde (L'Arc de ciel), X Japan, Leslie Cheung, Beyond to DH Lawrence, Jane Austen; from Kindle to ipad. They have a wider world than we used to have. When I was their age, my world was still limited. They have a larger database and it is more difficult for them to digest and correlate information. That I would say the challenge young people face. So it is important to teach them how to frame and conceptize their thoughts and be ready always to adjust their views when things turn out otherwise.

I am an old fashioned person. After watching 'crossing hennessy', I went to drink coffee and eat egg tart at the Honolulu coffee shop on Hennessy Road.
I was thinking that whether I will become 'Auntie Chu mimi' in the movie, hahaha
To name one good thing about being in love is to give yourself a reason to dress up, then auntie Mimi would not have to use her expensive bag only 'occasionally'.
