Jamie again
I watched 'Jamie's The Ministry of Food' this week. He encouraged people in his country to cook. It is certainly not easy. People do not seem to have passion for food and they have their financial constraints. I was thinking that he should introduce receipes using affordable ingredients. Tuna steak and salmon are tasty but those people could not afford having such food in their ordinary meals. That explained why they could follow pancakes and meatballs receipes but not the latter receipes. Perhaps Jamie could teach them Chinese cuisine, it would not cost much to cook a decent chinese dinner. Eggplants and eggs could generate a variety of recipes. Most importantly, Chinese people do know how to cook with limited choices of ingredients which would not compromise nutrients intake.
