Vow, the Canon has much better depth (compare the Sunflowers) than the Coolpix. I love the canon for stills, but for people, the mini coolpix is much friendlier and less intimidating if you want to capture more relazed poses. (PS: your photo skills are taking a dramatic upturn !)
definitely an tell the difference lar. (haha, i am a canon's fan.)
of course, your photo angles and skills are good also.
