上遊Sheung Wan HK

Wish the developers won't destroy communities like Soho in Wanchai, Central and Sheung Wan. The spontaneous and organic development allows the communities to grow and no planning is necessary. Any planned market, shop or mall will only destroy particularities that attract people. We do not go to travel to see the same things. We are the same but not that the same. Trend changed, people need no 'malls'. Even mainlanders came to HK for camping and less people go to shopping malls during tourist golden week! Small shops in Sheung Wan should be allowed to survive without the threat of ever raising rents. Governemnt has to protect these communities because communities form solidarity and security for people.
