To read - in Paris

There was a couple of bookstores near my hotel in Paris. I love librairie La Procure in particular www.laprocure.com. I walked in, a whole counter of simone weil's works were in front of me. It is near 'St Sulpice church', where the movie Davinci code refers to. Parisiens seem to be more inclined to read serious books (observations by personal visits to bookstores and based on their book catalogue).

what one would call 'books for thoughts'.
