板長壽司@ Tsim Sha Tsui

Nicole strongly recommended us trying 板長壽司@ Tsim Sha Tsui. We arrived at 6.30, no need to queue up. Sushi was good. We ended up eating many pieces of sushi.....

We went to the one in Wanchai, and we thought Hip Sushi in New Town Plaza was much better.
- The scallop: soggy, not as firm and sweet as Hip Sushi
- The wasabe was stored in this really clumsy long cylinder and the spoon was buried 70% in the green stuff, so unhygenic
- Service was not good: My chopsticks were about this pick up this salmon roe and the waitress snatched it from underneath me, and the roe fell on the table.
- The salmon sushi: I mean, this should be good as it is so popular, but the rice was only 50% of the one from any other shops, the fish was fishy !!!
- Fried soft shell crab - greasy and soggy and fishy
- The signature sushi: it was the only thing which was OK
- The sushi rice: too sweet and too much vingar
