聖火
在法國,聖火被暫時弄熄,以便繼續傳送,我舒了一口氣,發生在法國,總好過在其他地方.否則可以成為另一場風波.
我也試著想像,那個坐在輪椅上傳送者的感受及在鏡頭前親手關掉聖火那個人的感受.究竟有甚麼準則,作此決定?
我估計從今以後,每個傳送聖火者,心理都會受威脅.我相信人有表達自己的自由,但同時要尊重其他人的自由.我相信奧運的宗旨是提倡和平,運動員不應該受政治壓力,我真的想看一場和平的奧運.北京在公平的篩選中勝出,它就名正言順主辦奧運.

I fully agree, the meaning of the olympics is supposed to represent universal friendship and goodwill irrespective of one's political/ cultural/ racial/ ideological differences. Its an occasion where in ancient Greece, warring states would lay down their arms and compete in sport/ games. I think the state of affairs at present with the torch fiasco will not benefit anybody: Chinese, the Tibetans, or anybody else. Everybody ended up being losers.
