Impressed by Starbucks
Our Dept had an early meeting at 7.45 today.
As a 'cha shui miu', I need to get coffee ready before the meeting.
And people prefer starbucks.
I called Starbucks the day before.
but the one nearby opens at 8.
Yet the lady did not turn me down.
They said that they would try to arrange.
And they did. Professionally.
12 cups of drinks all ready and a muffin reheated by 7.30.
I was so impressed by their efficiency.
I really appreciate their attitude as they have flexblie mindset of doing things.
Thanks again Starbucks staff. I know you have to get up pretty early today to prepare my coffee.

I've a similar experience in Starbucks too. They really put customers in the first place and serve me before the opening, though their coffee is not the best.
Central starbucks has been robbed. Hope this won't change their friendly attitude.
I agree with Starbuck efficiency. For instance, I went to this Suzuki cafe thing in Causeway Bay and asked for a mocha at Sunday 11am (i.e. non-peak hour, only a few tables were filled). It took 40 minutes. It did not taste as nice as Starbucks and it did not wake me up, perhaps the caffeine content is lower, or, the coffe was not brewed long enough.
