Leonidas- social enterprise

Only from today's Tv program (TVB Tuesday report), I then know that Leonidas runs in the form of social enterprise. It changes my view about social enterprise. The profit is for supporting Benji centre. When they recuit their staff (based on adv), they make it very clear to others their company being a social enterprise. But they do it really low profile in the shops.

I like their chocolate anyway. It is the only place that sells huge chunks of chocolate with hazelnuts. It is even better to know that my money will suppport people in need, even indirecly.

十月圍城的香港味

對＋月圍城有點期待,結果沒有失望.選角對了,故事交待清楚,鏡頭佈局細緻,功夫俐落.
老香港對我來說,充滿魅力.每次行經中環,都禁不住想像曾經的'過去'-香港曾經有的傳奇.
電影中,有足夠元素:功夫.竹棚.騎樓.醒獅.咕喱.大頭綠衣
香港的動力來自華洋混雜,混得出色.
帶著看電影後的剩餘感覺,踏進灣仔,
見一相框鋪內年輕蘇菲亞羅蘭模特式站姿,被眾香港人圍繞,在傾斜樓梯街排出陣勢的黑白照,好有味道.
本想吃頓法式全天候早餐,但覺天氣泠,吃蛇羹也好,第一次到這店,覺得很有趣,枱下面有兩個很嚇人的字,毒蛇!
在美食的吸引下,甘願承受風險,那可會是香港最edge之處?!

阿妹在添好運久候,試米芝蓮點心,也外帶一些給我試試.咸水角放涼了,味道仍不錯,也不太油;义燒包,還是比較喜歡中式最傳统的那種.

今期明周有訪問陳冠中的稿,談他的小說盛世,談到公共知識份子的堅執及責任.
對於我這讀者,這書提供非常清楚的思維架構,讓人從多角度了解改變中的中國,也指出有自由知道及記得真相的重要性.
小說中的主角老陳在沉重與輕省中徘徊,非常unbearable,終極決定接近真相,並承受附帶的危險,書末章節有劇場感.寫中國竟寫到令我想起kundera and Ibsen,好existential的閱讀經驗.老實說,這是我看過最浪漫的中文知性感性俱備的小說.

久聞朋友大力推介聯記川王涼四川麻辣食店,星期六收工坐同事順風車到紅磡,沿路找到此店,酸辣粉恰到好處,夫妻肺片好吃,但小辣己擔當不了,既已又酸又辣,不妨再加上甜,吃碗福元湯圓，感覺完滿.

辦東亞運,看不出政府的盡心及盡力
賣票方法毫不進取,竟說技術問題,沒設即場售票
政府聽市民意見,從善而流,是例牌轉移視線技
戲也太假,若不是假,那就是太蠢,或太墨守成規,
不了解及不為市民著想也許更像真相
政府常說急市民所急,突事突辦
雖道那只是語言戲碼?
所謂問題真是難題呢?
別人不滿難以預知嗎?
性格分裂的政府如何能取得人信任.難矣!

*btw,我們的議員為香港做了甚麼?有沒有為香港市著想,而放下一已所執?
人人只顧自己面子.地位及利益,誰能安居樂業,盡展所長? Think Maslow's Hierachy of needs!
